The Conceptual Orgy

Group sex is a fantasy that many people have. However, when it actually happens, it does not always correspond to our hopes and expectations. Many of us want to take part in an orgy, but naturally only with the right people and at the right time.

Ecstatic pleasure with one partner is difficult enough, with many people it becomes really quite complicated, 1. because not every agrees on who, what and when is “right” for the orgy, and 2. because all of that can change before, during or after the orgy. The orgy is cocktail of expectations and disappointments, of fears and hopes, of lust and reticence, of pleasant and less than pleasant surprises: a complicated exercise in communication. The orgy is a minefield, in which all kinds of bombs are buried: jealousy, shame, homophobia, health risks, feelings of inferiority, the fear of loss, fantasies of all powerfulness and much more. The very explosiveness of the orgy is in fact part of its attraction.

This score works with elements from Authentic Movement, Contact Improvisation and Family Constellation. It begins with exercises about self-perception and perception of others, as well as attentiveness, presence and authenticity. In this way a space of sensitivity, trust and empathy is created. Interest and attraction, as well as reservation and aversion will be explored to establish clear communication and the protection of individual limits.

Those interested in participating in this event should be prepared for nudity and explicit body contact, and also willing to bring along what is necessary for safer sex. People who are fearful of contact with others of their own gender (or for that matter of the opposite gender) are not encouraged to take part, because in each exercise all genders will be interacting.

The conceptual orgy has been developed by Felix Ruckert between 2007 and 2016. In its current form it has five parts: Introduction – Contact&Empathy Exercises – Constellation Work – Self Love Ritual – Orgy

It needs a warm, clean space and plenty of safer sex materials, matraces and/or futons, sheets and blankets. It takes approx. 4 hours and has been done with up to 200 persons. It must be previously announced that every participant needs to bring a big towel (sauna or beach towel) to sit and lie on, and – in case of allergies or personal preferences – their own safer sex materials. Loose and comfortable clothing is recommended.

Technical Requirements:

For part 1-3 it needs blankets/ carpets/ futons to sit on, size ideally 160 x 200 centimeter, 1 carpet per 5 person.

For part 4 -5 it needs a central “play ground”, composed of matraces/ thick carpets/ futons covered with clean white bed sheets. Size of the “play ground”: 6 x 5 meters for up to 50 participants (about 9 double beds) / 6 x 10 meters for up to 100 participants, and so on. The “play ground” should be well lit from above, ideally with 1 – 2 par cans / 500 w. Room temperature should be minimum 24 degrees celsius.

For part 4, the Self Love Ritual it needs two spoon full of high quality organic coco nut oil for each person and a little disposable paper cup (small paper baking dishes for ex) to contain the oil. It needs two helpers to distribute the oil, cups and kleenex.

For part 5, the orgy:  we need paper towels/ kleenex (approx. one box for 5 persons), little bottles of handsterilizer (approx. one bottle for 5 persons), condoms (approx 1 per 3 persons), lube, gloves (non latex) and dental dams (approx 1 of each per 5 persons). 4 – 6 baskets or boxes to contain and display all the safer sex material, around the play ground. For this part also a good sound system is needed, ideally with four speakers, one for each corner of the room.
